VORTEX OFFER A COMPREHENSIVE ‘AFTER SALES’ SERVICE INCLUDING SPARE PART SUPPLY AND BOTH ON AND OFF SITE TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO ITS WORLDWIDE CUSTOMER BASE

Vortex Hydra have for over 45 years now supplied concrete roof tile manufacturing production plants to numerous customers throughout the world. This has resulted in the formation of a network of collaborators, agents and skilled technicians of many different nationalities and geographical origins.

In the past decade Vortex have extended their international influence further by opening subsidiary offices in Brazil, China, and the United Kingdom.  Most recently with the acquisition of an Australian competitor Globe Machines, Vortex can now also offer a technical support service to Globe customers.

In addition to the service provided by these subsidiary companies Vortex have Engineers located in different parts of the world to provide a local support service.

Aware of the importance of providing an efficient  ‘after sales’ service the spare parts supply division work closely with the Vortex Installation Engineers who have a wealth of experience and expertise in roof tile manufacture.  In addition to installing and commissioning the tile production plants the Engineers can also visit a customer’s site to assess an existing operation with regard to improving product quality, performance efficiency and determining a maintenance programme to suit the customer’s needs.

With the use of remote computer links the Engineers can diagnose the control parameters of a customer’s operation and so eliminate the sources of faults and inefficiencies.

 The after sales service also provides a technical support service to ensure:

  • Maintaining a stock of strategic wear parts to minimise down time and maintain product quality.
  • Support engineering service to ensure the correct use of wear parts with regard to set up, assembly and repair.
  • Support service in the assessment and selection of raw materials including concrete mix designs and sand grading.

Vortex continually invest in research and development to enable plant upgrades to be offered to existing customers to keep them at the front of manufacturing technology to enhance output, quality and plant performance. 

Mr Cor van Os (Owner and General Manager) of Radstone, our customer with a Vortex T40 production plant in Botswana said:

The visit was planned to perfection, all the required parts had been sent prior to his visit and we lost no production time whatsoever.
