The ROTARY-rack system is a fully automatic revolving ‘Carousel’ steel rack that allows wet manufactured tiles to be equally cured over a minimum pre-set time period, resulting in the early release of aluminum pallets back into the manufacturing process for re-use. The system concept consists of loading the ‘wet’ tiles into a large circular steel rack which is slowly rotated in a continuous cycle, exposing each tile to an identical pre-set curing cycle prior to unloading. The position of a tile in the rack identifies the exact time it has spent in the curing process. The circular rack is rotated in an insulated prefabricated tunnel, in which warm air is circulated according to pre-set conditions. Various temperature and humidity probes, heaters and fans are strategically positioned in the tunnel and are individually controlled by PLC.
This system, thanks to the easy maintenance and low energy consumption, is ideal for continuous production.
