MATRIX curing system with automatic circulation of racks is designed to guarantee:

- Maximum flexibility of production (several different tile profiles and colours can be produced);
- Perfect control of curing conditions;
- Ease of tile profile change;
- Smooth product handling for any velocity up to 150 tiles per minute.

The independent curing chambers offer both product flexibility and curing control.
The front-rear loaders and rack dimensions have been specially designed to allow maximum flexibility when managing different profiles and to maximize the smooth movement of wet products during automatic handling taking into consideration the rack speed during travel the complete curing system.

In order to fit the Matrix system into an existing building or to meet different space criteria, the dimensions of racks and chamber can be custom designed to suit a customer's circumstances.

The Matrix capacity can be easily expanded at some future date by the addition of new curing tunnels. The steel racks loaded with tiles exits the curing tunnel and is cross transferred on a conveyor to the racker-deracker unit. As it passes through the de-racker the dry tiles are automatically unloaded from the rack onto a take away conveyor. The rack continues to travel to the racker section whereupon wet tiles are automatically loaded into it.  When full of wet tiles the rack is driven onboard a transfer trolley that travels it to the pre-selected curing tunnel in which it enters. As the rack enters the tunnel previous pre-loaded racks in the tunnel automatically move up one position until the tunnel is full of wet tile racks. At the opposite end of the tunnel, an extraction mechanism removes a rack loaded with dry tiles and positions it on a ‘dry side’ transfer trolley that travels the rack back to the racker-deracker unit to re-commence the dry tile unloading/wet tile loading cycle.

The curing of the tiles in the racks is based on a ‘First In - First Out’ operation. When a curing tunnel is full with wet tile racks the doors are closed and the pre-set curing cycle is commenced.
